Early Years Funding at Our Preschool
In West Sussex, parents of eligible children can access government-funded to help with childcare costs.
- All 3 and 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare per week during term time.
- Some working families may be eligible for up to 30 hours per week.
- Eligible 2-year-olds may also receive funded hours, depending on family circumstances.

At our preschool:
- You can use your funded hours for any session – there are no restrictions.
- Any hours above your funded entitlement are charged at £7.00 per hour.
- We have no additional fees.
- We do ask for a voluntary termly contribution of £20, which helps cover snack and special enrichment activities such as, beach trips, Beefit sessions and hatching ducklings.
